Hajj Training

Opening and Intention

  • Praise Allah and send peace upon Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
  • Remind everyone that Hajj is a call from Allah.
  • Clean your heart, seek forgiveness from people, and clear your debts.
  • Keep your goal pure: do Hajj only for Allah, not for show.

Core Rules and Etiquette

  • Leave arguments, bad words, and anger behind.
  • Practice deep patience because crowds are large and the weather is hot.
  • Stay close to your group leader and follow local rules.
  • Recite the Talbiyah often once you enter the state of Ihram.

Step-by-Step Rites Overview

  • Ihram: Clean up, wear the simple garments (for men), and make the formal intention.
  • Tawaf and Sa'i: Walk around the Kaaba seven times, then walk between Safa and Marwa.
  • Mina and Arafah: Spend the day in prayer at Arafah, the peak moment of Hajj.
  • Muzdalifah and Jamarat: Collect pebbles, spend the night under the open sky, and stone the pillars (Jamarat).
  • Final Steps: Shave or cut your hair, perform the final Tawaf, and thank Allah for completion.
